They are SUPERMOONS with the Moon being at it's closest point to the earth making the Full Moon brighter. What a magic filled event is to soak in its light and beauty. We all know that the Moon has a profound influence upon us. Many say that the highest energy occurs at the Full Moon.

The ancient Chinese called the Sun Tai Yang, or the Great Yang Luminary. They called the Moon Tai Yin, or the Great Yin Luminary.

In Hinduism, the Sun is Shiva, while the Moon is Shakti, God and Goddess. Shiva is consciousness, while Shakti is the Soul in its manifestation on Earth.

Shamanic Moon Ceremonies

The Most Shamanic rituals honor the spirit of the natural world. The full moon is worshiped with rituals involving burning sage, purification, chanting, dancing and meditation. One of the ceremonies is called ‘Drawing Down the Moon’ where the energy of the Full Moon is used to induce the trance state of meditation and higher consciousness.
